London-based collective Franc Moody, headed by Ned Franc and Jon Moody, today shares a quadruple threat, with the announcement of their third studio album Chewing The Fat released via their new label Night Time Stories, Late Night Tales’ sister label, out 7th March 2025, as well as an EU & UK tour which includes a date at London’s O2 Academy Brixton, and a brand new single ‘Driving On The Wrong Side Of The Road’.

Of the new furiously fun track, the duo states that the track is their attempt at a “bold leap into a new era of Franc Moody”. The majority of the song was written and recorded in Los Angeles at 64 Sounds, with the mindset of tearing up the Franc Moody rule book and exploring uncharted waters.

Further waxing lyrical about the tune, they share, “Armed with mellotrons, drum machines and other crazy synths we delved into a psychedelic and acid driven soundscape with a hint of British seaside crag. The song explores adventure, decadence and a feeling of getting in over your head; of being enchanted by powerful forces. Lost in a moment before coming to one's senses and realising the things that really ground us.”
